About me
I Worked as a trained fashion buyer/designer for 20 years for a few high street retailers, I've now turned my eye for trends and love of prints to interior fabrics. After attending an accredited upholstery course and working in an interior store for the last few years, I've now setup my own upholstery business. I've built up a client base from repeat business and referrals from clients. I work with several interior designers and freelance for a local design store. I offer a local collection and delivery service
Design Consultation
I have full knowledge of current interior trends and can source any fabrics from a huge variety of brands to suit different budgets and design concepts. I like to either work through with you your ideas you may have or can research picture boards suggesting fabrics and design concepts for you. I will work with you either meeting in a design store to help advise on fabric or source swatches for you and send you samples. I will need to be able to view and measure up before providing a competative quote, however, happy if you send me a photo and measurements to enable me to provide a rough estimate.
Upholstery styles undertaken
Wing back armchair, retro egg chairs, deep button back chairs, tub chairs, slip on dinning chairs, fitted dinning chairs, ottermans, footstall, barstool, scatter cushions, box seat bench cushions for windows seats, boats and gardens. I can undertake basic traditional upholstery, such as re-webbing but I mainly specialise in modern upholstery and restyling. Should a frame need repainting/varnishing I can discuss options.
